Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Draft for review — these terms describe how the Service currently operates but have not yet received founder / legal sign-off, including the governing-law entity below. Do not treat this as final approved text until that review is complete.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using AELIQ ("AELIQ", "we", "us", the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. The Service
AELIQ is a technology financial management platform that ingests Cloud, AI, SaaS, and Security spend data (via read-only cloud connectors, invoice upload, or invoice email ingestion), normalizes it to the FOCUS spend schema, and surfaces cost visibility, savings recommendations, anomaly detection, and compliance reporting.
3. Acceptable use
- You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation.
- You will not upload data you do not have the right to share with us.
- You will not use the Service to store or process data unrelated to technology spend management.
- Cloud connector credentials you provide must be read-only / least-privilege; do not grant write access.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on the cadence (monthly, quarterly, or annual) selected at signup or upgrade. Fees are described on our pricing page and in your account billing settings. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features; core account access is not affected during a grace period as described at checkout.
5. Data ownership
You retain all ownership rights to the spend, billing, and invoice data you upload or connect to the Service. We process it solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. On account termination, you may request export of your data prior to deletion.
6. Warranties and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Savings estimates, anomaly flags, and recommendations are generated from automated analysis of your spend data and are advisory only — we do not guarantee any specific cost outcome. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving any action taken on your infrastructure.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AELIQ's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including acceptable-use or security violations. On termination, your data is retained for a limited transition window and then deleted per our retention policy.
9. Governing law
Placeholder — pending legal review: these Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [entity registration city], India. The contracting entity name and registered address will be finalized before production launch.
